Wonderful apartment – New Farm $210/wk

About this room

The apartment is in a wonderful location in New Farm, with many nearby amenities such as Coles, IGA, pharmacies, bottle shops, news agencies, cafes and restaurants. It is very close to Howard Smith Wharves and the Valley as well.

It is well connected by two regular bus routes; 199 and 196, as well as bike paths along the river.

The apartment itself is in a 1970s brick building (which means it’s a decent size!) and has great cross breezes in all the rooms. It comes with a big private garage, and since I don’t have a car there is plenty of space for storage. The apartment is fully furnished except for the vacant bedroom and there is a good amount of communal storage space in the apartment.

The apartment is technically a 3 bedroom, but you’ll be sharing the apartment with just me as the space works best with just two people. The rent is split in half with one person having the large bedroom (pictured) and the other person having the two small rooms. I currently have the two small rooms but am open to negotiating the choice of rooms.

The room pictured is large with inbuilt wardrobes and a nice big window on the western side of the apartment. Please note the bedroom furniture in the pictures will be taken out when my current housemate moves.

Instead of a TV in the living room, I have a projector with Chromecast and HDMI connection which serves me well. Hot water and water pressure are pretty good, and I have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. The laundry is connected to the bathroom, which has both a shower and a separate bathtub (which I never use), and the toilet is separate from the bathroom.

The balcony also has a clothes line which is handy too! Please note; Smokers are not a dealbreaker but it must be kept to the balcony only.

Move in date is ideally March 1st, and you’d be signing onto the lease which ends in August (potential to renew after).
