Room for Rent (Upstairs)

About this room

The house is a two-storey home, with separate share houses on each level. The available room is on the upstairs level of the house. The upstairs house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are currently three other tenants (one female and two males) and your room will share the bathroom with the female tenant.

The house has recently been renovated, with a modern kitchen and tiles throughout. The room and house come fully furnished and has all the necessary kitchen equipment, cupboard and fridge space as well as dining/living room furniture. There is also a washing machine and clothesline in the backyard. We also have a wide driveway and large grassed backyard if you would like off street parking.

The property is located near both the PA Hospital and Mater Hospital. We are a 10-minute walk to both Woolloongabba and Buranda Bus/Train Stations and a 5-minute walk to regular bus stops on Logan Road and Ipswich Road. There are also a variety of shops within walking distance including Chemist Warehouse, Night Owl, Subway, Officeworks, Woolworths and Coles, as well as plenty of local cafe’s and eateries.

The room will come furnished with a double bed, desk with chair, and built in wardrobe. If you would like to bring your own furniture, this can be negotiated. Rent includes all bills, including power, gas, water, and unlimited internet. Bond is 4 weeks rent and rent is paid 2 weeks in advance.

We don’t have any strict house rules, just the usual things like cleaning up after yourself, being respectful to others and contributing to your fair share of cleaning the shared spaces. The lawns are also regularly mowed which is all included in the rent. We prefer individual housemates (not couples), however partners are welcome to stay from time to time (not regular).
