Looking for a 30 year old plus (preferably female) to share a beautiful three-bedroom furnished Queenslander cottage with one other in Mapleton. No pets, sorry.

Furnished room available (can be unfurnished) from 24th June initially for 2-3 months, with potential for longer term stay for the right person.

$280 per week plus bills (electricity, gas and internet).

I’m 42 year old professional who is away 3-4 days per week for work (in Brisbane). I work 1-2 days from home. You will effectively have the place to yourself for half the week per week.

Third bedroom set up as an office. Happy for you to use the space on days that I am not working from home.

Plenty of storage under the house. Can be used as workshop space.

Tropical garden with fruit trees and veggie garden beds.

Looking for a house mate who:
– Respects others need for sleep and values quiet in the evening (it’s a Qlder after all! :))
– Looking for a home rather than a place to sleep. I like to share meals/cuppa or a vino on regular occasion.
– Got a bit of a green thumb – there’s a bit of gardening to do!
-Doesn’t mind the sound of a banjo or fiddle (I play both)
-I value a home that is TV/screen free in communal spaces, so if you want to watch a movie, it will be in your room with headphones on.
