Having tenancy and character references is a bonus. We are ideally also looking for someone with a current blue-card or with ability to obtain one.

OUR PLACE:
Our home is ideally located at the heart of Springfield lakes, situated within view and 1 minute walking distance of the beautiful spring lake and shops. Our place is also in walking distance of public transport, University of Southern Queensland (USQ); the Orion shopping centre and the Springfield lakes metro shopping centre. You’ll also have easy access to the centenary highway toward Brisbane city, Ipswich or Gold Coast. We have a small fluffy dog (Pomeranian) who has a lovely nature and stays mostly outdoors.

Bond is two weeks rent and we require 2 weeks rent upfront when moving in. We are looking for a single person (no couples) that appreciates living in a tidy and peaceful family home environment and has no pets of their own and is non-smoker (including no outdoors smokers). My wife and I also own our home so we can offer long-term accommodation for the right person. Ideally, we are also looking for someone with established Living skills and shared accommodation experience. Someone that is mature-minded independent, honest and courteous. Our place would suit someone that prefers to do most of their socializing outside the home as we cannot accommodate regular guests/visitors.

ABOUT US:
I (Alejandro) work full time for the Queensland Government and my Wife (Silvana) is currently on maternity leave due to return to work in September 2023. We’ve been married for 8 years and have a 8-month-old daughter together who is routine trained, sleeps through the night and is very quiet and well behaved (in baby terms). On a normal working week, we are only home after 5 PM on weekdays, We also live with my Wife’s father who is retired and loves gardening, going out for long walks and day trips and watching the occasional soccer (futbol match). On the weekends we enjoy attending our local church (Lighthouse Springfield), outdoor adventures as a family, spending time with relatives and friends and visiting the beaches of the gold coast. We do have one other long-term housemate who we consider a good friend. He works full-time, is 23 years old, clean, quiet and respectful of others. He is often on the go and out of home regularly. We value other people’s privacy but also enjoy a good conversation and helping out around the house. Our place is very quiet and peaceful, we don’t party and are family/career orientated. We are looking for a likeminded working professional or student who is independent, clean with established living skills.
