😎🧠Like-minded peeps

We are cool, calm and creative in this house! A ginormous house that’s been a fun and welcoming space/home with cool peeps over many years – with many more to come. We have calm heads, cheeky senses of humour and a good/bad/best habit of being too-easily talked into craft beer arvos, a friendly game of pool on our house table, the occasional hike, or a random tennis match at the free courts around the corner😉

About our crew

We’re aged in our 20s-30s, a mixed gender house ‘cos we all like balance. Here’s a bit of a basic bio:

-The creative policy nerd/introvert but will absolutely be convinced into a beer during some down time. Clear communicator and she has some fun and artsy hobbies – including woodworking, building tiny homes, and your standard hipster crap that we like to tease her about 😜

– An impressively smart dude working in Admin, great communicator and appreciates the same, also known as the wise old man of the house at the ripe of 22.

-A creative and open hearted tech entrepreneur – loves deep chats, old school music, prefers a good chat and relaxed atmosphere.

-A kind and fun, gym going, fabulous drawer/painter who is studying her paramedical degree,

-The house personal chef, who will stir your food before it burns, he’ll talk you into way too many house dinners, loves a good chat about anything.

It’s an absolutely massive place – there is a huge communal area, backyard seats around the firepit, verandah for chills, pool table for mischief, a 6m long blackboard wall for all the artists/scribblers among us.

😎 About you (we hope!):

-friendly, open to chats, sharing a beer, and who appreciates the importance of having their own space/chill area/mental headspace.

– The crew will love you back if you’re not looking for a party house and aren’t a complete dill (clean, respectful, mindful of noise).

– Someone who can adult for themselves (doesn’t need too much reminding when its your turn to take the bins out 😉)

🥵☀️ AIRCON Summertime is a BREEZE with aircon, so it’s a good thing we got that crankin! 😉 yes, even in your room, fancy right?

🤹💸 EASY BILLS – Juggling bills? NOPE! We chuck it altogether in an easy to manage $30 a week for Internet (unlimited, speedy NBN), electric, and water! No bill shock and more time for activities!

🛋 FURNISHED We have fancy couches, tables, chairs, furnishings, and all the things that you’d want to make a house more house-y. We CAN provide bedroom furniture for you too (make sure to let us know if that’s something you might want, and we can add it to your rent) BUT you’re welcome to bring your own!

🛀 BONUS – Brand new carpet, separate aircon, decent sized room.

🧹 CLEAN AND LOVELY – Not a fan of cleaning up after others? Yeah, same 😜 so we do all make sure we are tidy and respectful of our shared spaces

🌏 LOCATION, location, something something… Super close to the main transit roads, close to parks and nice picnic spots, lots of cute pubs around and good for those who like walking places. 14 min drive to Chermside Westfield and for non-drivers the 330 bus line that runs direct to QUT/Westfield/BNE city is 200m up the street
